Ktil is one of the ocean planets found in the Ktil System of the Ktilac Regions. Along with Ktil V and Ktil II, the vast majority of Planet Ktil's surface is oceanic. The planet has a breathable atmosphere and a warm temperate climate. Besides the endless oceans, Hulelyrn also has a large plain of grasslands, where many creatures thrive. Ktil is the furthest planet in the triangle, with Ktil II closest to the system sun, and the planet of Ktil V being midway. This gives Ktil the coolest temperature between the other two planets, which can be favorable to some sentients.

There are many deserted temples on the Ktil surface, remnants of the ancient civilization that once populated the Ktil system. Many beings enjoy scavenging through the temples, in order to dig up old relics that may fetch a few extra credits on the open market.

The largest civilized area on the planet is a city known as Oceandiamond. A large scale food processing company headquarters can found here, basing much of its business on aquatic foods that it harvests from the mighty Ktilac Ocean.
