Partold is covered with a variety of landscapes, including glaciers at the poles and an azure ocean across its southern hemisphere. Barren deserts, murky swamplands, and tangled jungle areas once blanketed the surface and provided shelter for the creatures that dwelt there.

Partold's location on the edge of the galaxy makes it a popular retreat for travelers to stop and rest. It's not as active of an industrial center as Partold II or other nearby planets, but many foresee that Partold has a bright future as further colonization and construction have transformed the surface into an ecumenopolis.
