A majority of Dairka, labeled Dairka III by galactic cartographers, is covered in ice all year round that reaches from the North Pole to the Southern Hemisphere. There is a variety of different terrains here: rock and snow mostly, though there are also caves present. There are also vast areas on this planet that have active volcanic activity, which shows that this planet is most likely young. There are few species of animal or plant life but most of what there is lives in the snowy or rocky areas of this planet. The best example is the gosimer tree.

The gosimer tree is a tree that is about 6 feet high at its tallest point and is native only to this planet. It is widely harvested because about 20 years ago, scientists found a rare chemical compound in it that makes it valuable to the medical community. No sentient species evolved on this planet and there are few permanent colonies here. Sometimes one might find scientists here, studying the plant and animal life.

While the atmosphere is listed as toxic, some races can be on this planet without breathing apparatus. There is a short period of time that there is something like a motion sickness when first exposed to the air. This lasts only a few hours while their lungs adapt to the atmosphere.
