The planet Belgor was once a temperate planet. It had a varied climate and varied terrain along with a rich plant and animal life along the equator. Most of the planet was cold, however. It never had any population. A large amount of tectonic activity resulted in earthquakes and volcano eruptions, causing the surface to be destroyed and the ecosystem to collapse. The result was a badly scarred surface where all vegetation eventually died out and killed all animal life. Not long after, the atmosphere disappeared. Several craters have appeared on the surface afterward as the atmosphere was no longer in place to protect the planet.

It receives little attention from the occasional visitors to the system. It is always surrounded by a light bluish mist which trails in its wake.

The planet was named after the Countess in charge of organizing explorations in this portion of the Hapes Cluster.

The years on Belgor are 3,603 standard days long and the days are 22 hours.
