Gargon II is a barren landscape of pockmarked craters and ancient lava flows, which are in harsh contrast to planet Gargon's lush environments. An astronomical anomaly, its age is undeterminable due to incredible carbon scoring on its surface, theorized to have occurred when it possibly drifted into the Gargon system from the nearby Meerian sector where it was once a habitable moon in orbit of the planet Dadrus. Its eons of travel across the distance from Meerian meant its own gradual transformation from an ocean ecosystem tied together by thousands of species of microorganisms, to a desolate and barren planet spurned as the changing gravitational forces caused long-dormant underwater volcanoes to erupt, killing off the ecosystem and leaving only molten rock in its place.
