Although this planet was to be named after the third child in the Kuras clan, the child committed a serious crime that resulted in the removal of his name and any claims to the Kuras legacy. When it was discovered that the planet had no atmosphere, a small team tried to build a domed settlement on the planet, and though for a short period of time it worked, everything came to an end as the machines that kept the colonists alive broke down, killing the population. Since the decline of technology had prevented almost all starflight between the planets, Kuras III held the dead in its long-decayed facilities for many years.
