This relatively small planet has a very pleasant climate of moderate temperatures and light breezes of perfumed air. The winters are cool, but with minimal snow, but the summers are pleasantly warm without drastic extremes. During the seasons of spring and summer, there are tiny, delicate insects at work spinning gossamer strands everywhere. The world lies far off the main trade routes and has few resources to offer, but it is a very pleasant and safe world. Among those that live in the Jjannex sector, there is a common folktale about this planet. It is believed that in the unsettled wilderness of Yunkor IX, mysterious wind-creatures can be found. These sentient wind-creatures are supposed to be invisible to the naked eye, but according to legend they communicate by whistles. The legend states that one young boy, hundreds of years ago, searched out these creatures, and was welcomed by them. They learned to communicate with him, and somehow they have extended his life span for many centuries. It is believed that he is their guardian, responsible for the conduct of his people and the defense of these creatures.
