A fortress world if there ever was one, Kal`Shebbol is the gateway to the Kathol sector. Though it cannot be compared to the likes of Kuat, Kal`Shebbol is, for this region, heavily defended and strictly controlled. Visitors are only allowed into certain "Transient Zones" and all newsmedia is heavily monitored and, as necessary, controlled.

The cityscape that covers most of the surface is spectacular indeed, with white spiraling towers dominating the buildings. While being very urbanized, Kal`Shebbol does have large parks and other open areas (though there is little life there, as they are controlled environments) and the bright, beautifully sculpted buildings add to the impression of an open, airy planet.
