Forscan VI A is a small, sparsely inhabited moon orbiting Forscan VI. The moon is a base of operations for the "River Rats", the elite Tresarian amphibious assault force. Because of a lack of mining and industrial potential, the moon was not originally colonized with the rest of the system. Urbanization did not begin until the other more attractive planets started to become crowded. But its thin atmosphere does support a unique ecosystem. Lichens and mosses grow in craters and canyons where moisture is protected from evaporation. Small herbivores inhabit these sanctuary ravines and are preyed upon by larger predators that either prowl the surface or live deeper in the crevasses. The River Rats are known to use the barren crags for survival and combat training, as the predators inhabiting them can be as hostile as the terrain itself.
