An illegal salvage ship, the Medulbee is the best-known ship to have been destroyed while chasing the illusive Askajian treasure load rumoured to be within the Maw's confines...somewhere.

Spawning several books and a b-grade holovid, in addition to countless ballads, the Medulbee is immortalised as a fool's errand. Approximately two hundred years after the destruction of the ship, escape pods bearing her seal were found on the outer rim of the cluster - though they were empty and devoid of any hint of why they had been launched empty.
