Koru is a cold planet in the Neimoidian Purse Worlds. It has an extensive river crossing it from pole to pole, and plains at each side of it that flood periodically. The river is born in the sole glacier on the planet, located in the south pole. Here, the extensive glacier melts each season providing a constant renewal of the water.

Neimoidians settled in Koru many years ago, establishing a small trade and custom outpost. Administering the assets and commercial activity in lesser colonies, Koru soon became one of the most prominent planets under the Neimoidian rule. Hence, it was allowed to carry the name of Neimoidia.

The planet is famous for being home of the most avaricious individuals in the Galaxy, who gather yearly in the local plaza to brag about their prized possessions and greedy extravaganzas.
