Algara V suffers from a violent weather system, with lightning storms so severe they can be seen from the surface of its neighboring planets. This has not hindered the development of life there and many atmosphere-dwelling creatures prey on each other as they flit between the many cloud layers. It has a retrograde axial rotation compared to all the other planets in the system and the plane of orbit is inclined by several degrees. This means that the length of its days and years are not constant and they vary by a considerable amount. Planning to go into orbit around Algara V requires having to work out a considerable amount of trajectory adjustments, so it is highly advisable to have a droid onboard, well versed in making rapid vector calculations.
