Located in the Bri`ahl sector, far from the Core, Lanteeb V is a planet completely covered in ice. Despite the lack of a developed infrastructure, its surface is far from deserted, though signs of life are rare discoveries for observers. The planet's frigid temperatures have led to unique evolutions among its native species and each has its own system for coping and surviving the planet's non-stop cold season. The occasional ice cavern offers limited protection to these animals from the unrelenting blizzards.

Lanteeb V itself is located on the far edge of the Malor-77 system. The planet's great distance from the sun is one of the main contributing factors to its freezing atmosphere. It is also the smallest of all the planetary masses in the system and has received little attention from commercial interests.
