Flamethrower (Projectile)

Using a viscous liquid ignited by a flame at the end of the barrel, the flamethrower is able to light enemies on fire that cannot be extinguished by most means. Whereas victims of blaster fire often die a relatively painless death, those unfortunate enough to be dispatched by a flamethrower will die an agonizingly slow death.

Unlike wrist mounted flamethrowers, this is a full scale anti-infantry flamethrower. This means that it boasts improved firepower, range and fuel capacity but suffers from decreased maneouverability. Only usable as a close range weapon, the full scale model has fallen out of favour with the galaxy at large as most troopers can blast or stun a soldier before he can get close enough to bring his flamethrower to bear.
