"Humility serves well, those who wield it well." - Ah-Tazza's Leaf
Dating back to the time of nomadic hunters, Zeet-ish`Tchizik was once the predominant religion on Huk. As time gave way to invasion, civil war and galactic exploration, the traditional beliefs were abandoned in favor of technological advancement.
The followers of Zeet-ish`Tchizik believe that the energy known as the "Force" is a manipulation of the evil god Zeet-ish, and an attempt to not only thwart the benevolent god Kiitchich, but also draw all matter toward the galactic center in a swirling vortex known as the "Eye". The completion of the attraction (known as the "Reformation") would allow Zeet-ish to destroy all matter and life within the galaxy. By moving matter away from galactic central, and thwarting the unwitting servants of Zeet-ish, the Zeet-ish`Tchizik hope to prevent the end of the entire galaxy.
The religion has always maintained an extensive list of those who have passed, not only as a way to preserve history, but as a way to keep track of those who may come under the influence of Zeet-ish. With reports of genetic relations having a decreased immunity to the illness, maintaining a genealogical record can remove followers of Zeet-ish before they become dangerous.
