Your local holo-news anchor appears on screen. After a few minutes of local news you are informed that the station will be playing a holo-recording from one Darren Stone. The message is apparently important enough to interrupt your evening news broadcast.
A man fades in, arms behind his back, staring out the main viewport of the CR-90 Assassin SS Onslaught. He turns towards the camera, the right side of his face bearing three clean scars extending from his ear to just beside his nose.
"Greetings, sentients of the galaxy.I come before you to announce the reason behind why I destroyed Astralwerks Engineering. While it seemed a simple act of piracy, it was much more than that. It was.... justice."
"Many are familiar with the, dare I say, infamous Isoldor Storm. Stories abound of his mistreatment of employees, generally unfriendly attitude, and a host of other misgivings that I have neither the time nor the inclination to get into right now. Whatever your problems with Isoldor may be, I'm here to set the record straight."
"Over the course of my employment, I witnessed many of the claimed misgivings against Isoldor. I can vouch for all of them as a firsthand witness. In addition, I can bear witness to numerous plots by Isoldor to screw innocent people over that never came to fruitition. My point being. Ninty-nine percent of the rumors are true with proof. The other One percent are more than likely true behind closed doors. Despite everyone's warnings I stayed with him, simply because he hadn't done anything to me. How wrong I could be. I should have known it would only be a matter of time."
"Over recent months, I have been placed in babysitting jobs just to help keep his little empire afloat. I watched as he abused the members of Storm One Mining, even as they gave him an immense profit margin. Despite all the work they put in, Isoldor refused to inject money into the company and forced it to run on limited resources, demanding productivity at the expense of its employees. That was when I finally awoke to how bad Isoldor was screwing us all over, and I decided to do something about it."
"After I cleared AE, he even tried to keep another friend from getting a ship that he had loaned after Isoldor was cleared out before. That didn't go over too well. Needless to say he crossed the line at that point. I would have offered him a reasonable price to get his cities back, which would have gone to those persons that he himself screwed over. No longer is that the case."
"How ironic that I stand before you in one of the illustrious Isoldor's own corvettes. Eidola appreciates your faction."
"Iso, we tried to be nice. You gave us no choice. Any who follow you should know that you lead them to their own demise. I have nothing more to say to you. Farewell, sentients of the galaxy."
Darren turns back to the viewport as the screen fades to black...
