Greetings, citizens of the Dark Side. I
come before you to provide you with an update on the escalating situation in
Tatoo System.
As of 1300 hours today, we have expanded our
restricted military zone to include position 6, 12. For those of you
familiar with the Tatoo system, position 6, 12 includes the planet Tatooine.
As Imperial forces were met with hostile
resistance as we positioned ourselves to assume control of position 6, 12 and
Tatooine. In raids immediately following the fall of the planet Tatooine,
a special forces team combined of Sith and Army personnel captured the Former
Prince of the Black Sun, Plojo Rosom. He is now aboard an Imperial Star
Destroyer, awaiting interrogation. We have confirmed that he is now in our
custody, which explains why the GNS has reported he is no longer the leader of
the Black Sun.
Imperial intelligence has reviewed
the video and audio footage captured during this resistance and have
de-classified some of the images and audio for your review.

The first image you see is of the Imperial-Class
Star Destroyer Blitzkrieg in pursuit of a Black Sun Bulk Cruiser, registry "TF
Blacktide". The "TF Blacktide" responded to our advancement with hostile
weapons fire.

ejected some escape pods upon Imperial pursuit, obviously looking to find refuge
on the planet. Our troopers followed them to the planet and we located the
escape pods. We are currently tracking them through the harsh desert and
expect to find them soon. We have some audio from the Commander in charge
of locating the crew aboard the escape pods.

We also intercepted an audio
transmission from the planet surface. It was sent from a small Jawa
village to the northeast of Anchorhead. Our translators concur that this
message was intended for Samus Augil, a Jedi Knight and symbol of hope to the
Jawa people. Needless to say, the entire Jawa enclave was destroyed.
The reports I have indicate that the Jawa were rounded up and forced into their
homes, where they were burned alive.

comes from Mos Eisley space port. The intercepted transmission is of
Planetary Lord and local crime figure Joseph Roscha. He is attempting to
send a transmission to Black Sun operatives in the Jospro system.

Widowmaker approaching Tatooine to begin deployment of Imperial Walker AT/AT's.
A military reporter embedded with a
special forces recon team on the planets surface was able to capture some high
quality audio of our Bombers entering the planets atmosphere.

After our transport ships delivered
a squadron of Imperial Walkers to the planets surface, we monitored and recorded
the radio communication between our AT/AT commanders and Military command.
We have de-classified some of the audio captured from off our military channels.
The first transmission comes from an
AT/AT Commander deployed on the Northern Hemisphere of the planet. The
AT/AT Commander was tasked with disabling the planetary defenses.

on the planets surface.
The next transmission comes from
that same AT/AT Commander, but this time it captures audio of blaster fire from
the Walker on small-arms fire resistance near the power generator.

Our next image comes to you from Mos
Eisley, where some local traders, criminals and other scum began to evacuate the
planet and system once it fell under Imperial control.
Our next image comes to you from the
Dune Sea, where our troopers began to go village to village and farm to farm,
looking for criminals affiliated with the Black Sun. Some of the locals
took refuge behind rocks, hoping to stay hidden from our invading force.
Our next images are again taken from
our troops operating in the Dune Sea. This time our troopers are looking
for clues left behind by scattering Black Sun criminals.
Our final image comes to you from
high orbit over the planets surface. The Super Star Destroyer Sovereign
delivers an unidentified Sith to the planets surface to evaluate the various
operations.
Unlike in the Beta system, we do not
wish to destroy every living creature found our captured on the planet.
Instead, we primarily looking for the criminal element of the Black Sun.
Our purpose is to eradicate their presence on Tatooine and level a significant
blow against their infrastructure. Their ability to conduct business in
the Orus Sector will be negatively impacted. This will also serve as a
warning to all who are associated with the Black Sun and their business
practices. We will identify no difference between those that actively
engage in crime and those that passively support it.

Reporter: Has Tatooine fallen
to the Empire?
Executor Vodo: Our operations
are ongoing, but it would appear that we have destabilized the operation of the
Black Sun government on Tatooine.
Reporter: You previously made
note of "traders and other local scum". What are your plans for those that
find themselves in the wrong place and the wrong time?
Executor Vodo: Ah of course.
Those that tell me that it is a coincidence that they are here engaging in
business with the Black Sun. Everyone has 10 standard days to clear
Tatooine and move outside of system position 6, 12. Anyone caught inside
restricted Imperial airspace after 10 days will be vaporized.
Reporter: Are the Sith
personally involved on the operations on the planets surface?
Executor Vodo: Elements of the
Imperial Army, Navy, MJ-12 and Sith are engaged in operations on the planets
surface.
Reporter: Can you tell us how
many Sith are involved?
Executor Vodo: No, I cannot!
Reporter: Is Darth Xeres and
Darth Knyte involved?
Executor Vodo: I cannot tell
you that! No more questions on the Sith.
Reporter: Will the Empire
target other Black Sun systems?
Executor Vodo: The Empire will
target other Black Sun systems if they do not comply with Imperial law and
continue to harbor enemies of the state.
Reporter: Can you tell us
anything regarding how many ships are involved in the attack?
Executor Vodo: I will not
comment on what we have on the ground, since the operation is ongoing, but we
entered position 6, 12 with two Victory-Class Star Destroyers, one
Imperial-Class Star Destroyer, two XL-7000 Battle Ships, three CR-110a Gunships,
one squadron of Tie-Scout, one squadron of Tie-Bomber, one squadron of Imperial
Gunboats and one Super-Class Star Destroyer.
