The Galaxy has been plunged into a period of darkness. Galen Darksol has betrayed the New Republic and given everything to the Empire. His actions have wrought upon us a Second Galactic Dark Age. Across the Galaxy beings mourn the loss of a light that has been seemingly snuffed out.

On every corner of the holonet one can see the debate raging on, the biggest question being "what comes next"?

For the Empire it is a time for celebration, as their most powerful enemy was brought to its knees in a single stroke. Was it skill? Was it luck? Was it coincidence? This matter concerns not the Jedi Order.

We are not here to speculate, we are here to take action as we always have. The vultures may try to pick apart the remains of a great nation, the Empire and its allies may plunder the resources of a free people, however... nothing of value has been lost.

Ships? Weapons? Resources? What are these to a free people? Having them does not make you any more or less alive. Possessions are temporary, and forever changing. The most important thing to the Empire is control over people.

The Empire does not rule over its territories because it has planets, nor does it rule because of fleets. Their armies can not be everywhere to exert control. All they need to rule you is for one to be fooled into thinking they are completely powerless against them.

Ships fall apart, they can be destroyed. Planets have many that simply do not wish to be governed by a regime that wishes to exploit and abuse them for their own personal gain. Weapons do not have any use sitting in an imperial armory collecting dust. Posessions are useless on their own.

The one thing that the Empire can not tolerate is action. It is their greatest weakness. Anyone taking coordinated, intelligent action against them weakens them. With every action that weakens them they fall closer to crumbling.

The Empire controls so much with so little by using fear. Ships, weapons and armies are miniscule on the scale of the Galaxy. A galaxy wishing them gone simply needs to organize and take action.

The Jedi Order has and always will support those wishing to take action against the Empire, and work towards the goal of a galaxy free of their cruel intent.
