*You are scrolling the GNS Feeds, slowly flicking through each new little update when suddenly your screen goes blank. After a few seconds, your speakers start blaring, as a lone voice starts to emanate out of them.*

“Are you craving a little more bloodshed in your life?”

“Have you missed the chance to watch the best, most violent spectacle ever broadcast over the clearnet?”

“Well, aren’t you lucky?”

*Suddenly, the screen bursts into life once more. You see two sentients fighting in the center of a large ring, with a writhing mass of sentients behind them, shouting and screaming in delight.*

“The Galaxy’s favourite combat sport is back, and this time, it’s personal.”

*The screen cuts to a heavily zoomed in image of two Jawa’s, fighting over a pile of scrap metal. Suddenly, they come to blows, and are soon writhing on the ground, kicking up a small cloud of dust.*

“Jic Uiji. Kolomon Seph. Exemplary leaders of the Jawa community, yet the drama has been stirring for a while. Rumours have been flying around the holonet for a while now, and it all comes to a head on Day 128.

*The screen cuts to a hulking Herglic towering over a smaller Selkath, before the scene ends with an audible “plop”*

“And opening the night, we have our two newest sign ups! Retan Coda will go face to face with the porcine predator himself, Lartog Ulmug!”

*The screen cuts to black with a loud mix of an oink, squeal and humanoid scream.*

“The Galacting Fighting League makes its debut on Year 22, Day 128. Won’t you come and enjoy?”
