After i log in, i am unable to continue. For example, i click on create new character, i will be redirected to this page where it says my session has expired and to log in again. I keep trying and it ends up the same way.

Please provide your handle so we can add you to the session exceptions list.

Have you checked the sticky thread named "sticky: Problem: I can't log into SWC!"? It contains the most common solutions to your problem. Please try them all.

I put in my handle but I am still at the main combine screen, where you login. only diffrence is the adress bar goes from this: http://www.swcombine.com/
to this:http://www.swcombine.com/index.php?redirect=/members/index.php
I try the guide and it said I would see my create a character button in the top right corner. It's not there and if I leave the screen it logs me in as guest.

Same thing happens, I tried them all, even firefox, and the adress bar is the same(look in post before this) but it still remains on the main homepage for swcombine.

There is already a login exception for you so you should be able to log in.

I can get to step 3, but after I hit the continue to step 4 button, it sends me back
to the login screen. And I had all the skill fields as 0.
