Planet: Dolucar
Table of Contents [hide]

Dolucar should have been a star. Dolucar should be a well-known name. But only slightly too small, Dolucar is remaining a planet. A giant one. A big red gas giant. Dolucar's structure is mainly a three-layered one. The external layer is the "atmosphere" of Dolucar. Composed of various gases, it even hides some useful gases. But as always in such conditions, gas mining is somewhat difficult. But flying therein is not as hard as flying in normal atmosphere...as long as your sensors are efficient. The pink-brown gases are preventing pilots from having more than 150 feet-45 meters of sight. The intermediate layer is a light "soup". 280 miles-450 km broad, this layer is a dark-brown mix of dense gases, liquid minerals, and dust. Commercial resources are scarce, however. And mining them should be a nightmare. The spaceflight in the soup is possible, sure. But very dangerous. If your shields are not strong, the hull of your ship will quickly be damaged: be warned. The central layer remains unexplored. It is believed, though, that gases are so dense therein - due to pressure.
