Planet Berri is a hot planet located in the Berri System of the Ktilac Regions. It is a very complex planet geologically speaking, as its inner core is formed by an amalgamation of melted metals spinning at an incredibly fast speed. This provides a constant temperature on the surface that is somewhat comfortable for life, even though the planet is at a considerable distance from its sun.

The scorching materials find their way out of the planet at its poles. One monstrous volcano rises from the northern pole and there's a smaller crater in the south. Even though they are both relatively calm when it comes to seismic activity, they are quite active exuding gases like sulfur dioxide.

There are no reports of fauna on Berri, but there are extensive botanical studies regarding the grasslands that surround the poles. They are mostly expansive prairies of golden grass with some scattered trees with bulbous leaves. Of particular interest is the chemical reaction that the plants use to turn the venomous gases of the planet into water and oxygen, keeping the atmosphere breathable.

The rest of the planet is a gigantic desert made of silica. This material has been recently used by newly arrived colonists to build crystal-clear cities.
