Gas giant Syvris II is located in the Syvris system of the Al`Nasrl sector. It is quite a rare system as it has four unusually small gas giants. Closest to the Syvris sun, Syvris II is the hottest of these. High temperatures cause the gas in its atmosphere to circulate at very high speeds. This creates a remarkable view from space, and, as the planet rotates unusually fast, the patterns of low and high-pressure bands are clearly seen.
Syvris II is largely uninhabited due to the severe atmospheric conditions and the absence of ground. Though, a bit deeper into the atmosphere, the temperature falls and so do the rotational speeds of its various elements. Even in this less tumultuous zone, however, life signs have not been detected. While such a climate does not welcome visitors, it has been known to attract miners in search of the large deposits of precious materials which can be found under these hard conditions.
