Giar Asteroid was one of the early settlements in the Sevarcos system. Initially, pirates were drawn to the privacy of the cave in which it is hidden. The community on Giar was carefully planned out with residential dwellings in the north and an industrial region in the south. However, over the years this community has fallen into disrepair. Many of the buildings are decrepit and in poor condition.
