Castell, located in the Barma sector, in the Castell system, is named after its system. It is in the early stages of its development and growing rapidly. The planet is not very rich in oxygen and is barely tolerable for humans, yet it is still under development and striving to be one of the most powerful planets in the galaxy.

The rugged, varied terrain of this planet makes it suitable for many different purposes, such as; different types of crops and mining. The volcanic regions of the planet are very useful for its ore which contain extremely packed hydrogen crystals, used for cleaner, more efficient motors in certain crafts used on the planet. The people on Castell cannot just go in and begin living, or else the lack of oxygen would kill them, they need to be slowly introduced into the atmosphere through tough procedures that make their bodies able to survive in such conditions. Once a person goes through these procedures, they may leave and come back without any problems, memory in their bodies will still be able to survive in the atmosphere after leaving and coming back months or years after.

The terrain of Castell is very rugged, with jungles, to volcanoes, to deserts. All under extreme heat. There are many inhabitants of this planet at the moment, over fifty million, but it is still growing and expected to reach into the billions. This will only happen if the people no longer have to go through the acclimatization process. Scientists, right now, are trying to convert the barely tolerable atmosphere in this region to an oxygen-rich atmosphere by fusing molecules together. This, along with some special plants found only in other systems, will hopefully convert the atmosphere to an oxygen-rich one where people would be able to flourish. Castell’s varied terrain is also extremely helpful to different species of aliens. Tuskan Raiders and Jawas, although they are not found on this planet, are fond of the desert and rocks. Humans and other humanoid aliens seem to prefer the jungles and developed areas. So Castell is very apt to provide for different cultures and species.
