Concordian Crescent Technologies’ flagship blaster pistol, the WESTAR-34 was designed for intense, short range firefights. Made from premium dallorian metal, the blaster pistol was able to dissipate the intense heat generated by continuous firing better than almost all other contemporary weapons that do not boast a dedicated cooling jacket. The pistol frame is bright and polished , and skeletonised to reduce weight. All the metal edges are gently rounded to ensure comfort even if the grip is held tightly.

The WESTAR-34 achieves its high fire rate by essentially squeezing the Xciter and actuating blaster module of a heavy blaster pistol into a much smaller space. Mandalorian armourers use a proprietary process to achieve this, which is why these pistols are so rare outside Mandalorian space. They are highly prized by gun fighters and bounty hunters, as well as pirates and other criminals who value the high volume of fire the pistol can put out in a firefight. Although the power of the WESTAR-34’s individual blaster bolts are not as great as a true heavy blaster pistol, the pistol’s rapid fire capability more than makes up for it, making the WESTAR-34 highly sought after wherever armed conflicts occur.
