Combine Points: Room Custom Images

Room custom images are a way of customizing the room maps of entities. This page gives examples for how to create your own custom room images. These rules are in addition to the rules listed on the custom images page.

Rooms have a size and can be square e.g. 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, or rectangular e.g. 1x2, 2x1, 3x5. The size determines the dimensions for the uploaded image. 50px per unit size.

This size requirement applies for both decals and floors.

The floor image is used as a background for each room.

  • Floor images are drawn at the bottom layer of the room map.
  • The floor image should be mostly or fully opaque.
  • The floor image should have a border indicating the room walls.
  • If no custom floor image is selected, the default floor is used.
  • Player submitted decals must match room size exactly.
  • Floor images should be in pixel art style.
Most common room sizes:

The decal images is used to add detail to the rooms.

  • Decals are drawn above the floor image.
  • Decals must specify what room type they apply to.
  • Where a room has multiple room types, the decal room type must match at least one type.
  • Decals should not have a background, they should be transparent to show the floor.
  • Decals should be in pixel art style.
