The galaxy is full of plants that seem strange to those not native to the planet the plants come from. What may seem normal to an Amani from Maridun might be totally odd to a Whiphid from icy Toola. This particular strange flora is quite lovely, resembling a pale, purplish white blossom with teardrop shaped petals growing in two concentric upward bending circles. The tips of the petals curl slightly inward while the base of the petals is a darker purple. In the centre of the flower lies a golden yellow cone topped with four or five delicate stamens. The petals are velvety soft to the touch, and the flower exudes a soft, pleasingly sweet aroma similar to cinnamon and warm honey. The flower appears to grow directly out of the grass, lacking a discernable stalk or leaves. How the plant grows is a mystery, and merely adds to the strangeness of this plant.
