::Forum - Shield Generator, but no Shield Projector?

Year 6 Day 99 5:52	Shield Generator, but no Shield Projector?
Naos Grilmor	On the factions page, it lists the Security faction as having the datacard for the Shield Generator, but not the Shield Projector. To me, this doesn't really make sense, as one is useless without the other. It's all very good and well to provide security by building a Shield Generator, but if you can't build a Shield Projector to go with it, and say someone has hired your security faction, and that client isn't a government, it's a bit of a waste of time and resources. Is this a mistake, or is it deliberate. And if it's deliberate, can someone explain why?

Kevin Chambers	1 generator will only protect the city it is in, if the planet has a few generators then combined they can protect the planet. Exact numbers aren't defined yet.

Elif Ban	If a city is 20x20 and the generator only protects a 3x3 square with itself in the middle then wouldnt that mean it would only protect itself as it is 3x3 facility.
