No matter what someone thinks of the character Syn I think some of the comments in the GNS post that I have copy and pasted are uncalled for and are against the spirit of the game and certainly against the PG13 rating we try to give it. Syn	I'm not that familiar with the exact guidelines of a PG-13 rating - if referring to someone as a whore isn't considered PG-13 or lower, then I agree, of course, that it should be removed. However, if that isn't the case, I have no problem with it and am all for the Empire taking some initiative to directly make themselves look bad, for a change. It gets so repetitive to see others doing it for them all the time. In the Combine, the common reaction by a man who feels threatened by a woman has always been to accuse her of sleeping around. No one takes this seriously anymore (hopefully they never did), and when factions feel the need to behave in such a childish manner, hilarity ensues. You should see some of the comments I've heard regarding the post. I am not someone who is easily shocked by comments or anything, but i do think this is absolutely uncalled for and when reading that GNS post, my initial thoughts were WTF does this have to do with the ongoing isue... To me it sounded more like an excuse to insult someone than an actual post contributing to the "ongoing story". and that sounds to me like using a feature (GNS) for something it isn't meant to be used for. Rika Lawson	I can't say I see it as an abuse of PG-13. Actually, I think it's a pretty lame come-back. There are better ways to deal with something like that than accusing someone of sleeping around. It's pretty lame, sorry. Propaganda is such a lovely tool, but this is just pitiful. Syn	Wish I were kidding. A while back, some group of Core (now Imperial high command, essentially) members invented the "Cat Virus," an STD they claimed was going around due to one Catrianna Eisel allegedly sleeping around with everyone, after she pissed them off one way or another. That isn't the only example, but it's a fairly prominent one, and the first to come to my sleep-deprived mind at 2 in the morning. This really is the last resort of men feeling threatened by women around here, and that's fairly sad in itself. ____________
