When I registered to join I did what was asked in the multi rules. What now?
"Your joining application was rejected due to a number of factors making your application suspicious. Various elements pointed towards this account being
wittingly or unwittingly used to violate our muti-account rules. It is possible
that you share the IP address of an existing player, this is usually caused by
already having an account or sharing a connection with an existing player,
please contact firstname.lastname@example.org."
There are two existing accounts under your IP address. If either of these is your account then you cannot register a new account. If these are others sharing your connection, did you enter both of their handles in the multi field of the join form?
If you e-mailed the information then I probably entered it manually myself (this has no effect on the join process, however), but if you used the fields on the join form and did not send any e-mails, it is strange that someone would have added you as a registered multi, yet still declined the account.
I am not sure what to suggest aside from trying again, since multiple people handle join requests and it may simply have been an error, but if you provide the handle you attempted perhaps someone will recognize it and may be able to explain.
Keep waiting. All of the applications are reviewed by hand, and most of the admins have external lives. (Some they've got chained in the dungeon, but you don't want those one's approving/declining apps anyway!) Seriously, though, sometimes it takes them a few days to wade through the pile. (From what I hear, they receive up to 100 apps per day. Takes a while to process all those!) Hang in there, you'll get a response either way, I'm sure of it.
