I'm Jim Sarantidis from Greece and I'm new here but I hope that I'll get used to the control of this virtual world. I learn about this website from you-tube from pure luck. The thing is -> I love it. Because I'm the nube here I have some questions so:
1) Why can't I use chat???
2) Is there a case where I'll have to post something here in order to have an ingame change/action. How the forums interver with the "in" game???
3) I would like to now some people since it is an RPG (I hope it's not a kick in the door game - only hunting tons of enemies) both to have fun and help me get used with the game. Is that possible???
P.S: The bad news are that since this is the last year that I am considered to be a student I have to give my self to my exams (that is what I call "the dark times" ^^)and sometimes I might have no time to play. What sould I do???
Oh, and check also my biograffy. Is it ok?
1a)What's gonna happen if I make a mistake in the game???
2a)What's gonna happen if the PC make a mistake???
Well you can edit your posts on the forums, so double posting is generally looked down upon.
1 You have to download the IRC client to chat.
1a we all make mistakes, just keep going, and if that mistake affects another simply apologize and learn from it.
2 I'm not really sure what you mean, but I've never 'had' to post to complete an action in darkness.
2a I don't think you have to worry about that unless your mouse clicks twice on screen every time you click.
3 I'm Naast btw. :P
And we all hate school (those who are in it, luckily I'm not.)

Are you having any specific problem with chat? We have the java client on the website, and it is working fine; people use it on a daily basis.
For your third question, the best way to get to know people is to join a faction and interact on their forums or in their chatrooms or wherever they hang out. Good way to meet people who share your interests, and people you'll probably be roleplaying with.
When you have no time to log on, don't worry about it, just let your faction know if you're going to be away for more than a few days. It happens to everyone since most Combine members are also students.
Oh, and for the record, your biography is fine. Many players don't even bother to put any effort into theirs. Yours is good, and will improve if you decide to update it frequently with your current life.
