is it possible to equip npcs with armor, weapons, etc? if so, how would you go about doing it.
Also, how many NPCs can you have follow you at one time?

It is currently not possible to equip your NPCs with anything. The only exception are expert boxstackers, who can lift the same items you are lifting, if you have a number of the same items in a room or a grid.

You can have up to 12 NPCs in a party with you at once.
