I noticed recently while traveling through hyperspace that Items equipped to my character reveal the sector that the ship is passing through and Items stored on the ship do not. It seems to be the same for both the old inventory and the new one. I suppose my question here is-
I've noticed that as well. I don't pay a ton of attention to technical things but I *thought* they were trying to remove all such occurrences like that where you could find out where exactly in hyper you are. I'd guess bug?

Just found another place that can be used as a 'divination board'. I was looking through my vehicle inventory and noticed that a vehicle docked in a ship was giving me the specific location of the ship.
Not sure if that was addressed within the bug base report.

Does it appear in the Inv. 2.0 also? After having the original bug reported, it was deemed that it would only be fixed for 2.0 (I think) and the current issue with the 1.0 would be "phased out" when it was removed. I think the bug report I originally sent is closed, but you can start another if you feel like it.
Same for me, I have items on my ship that shows where I am. I *think* that perhaps nobody has gotten around to fix the bug? Them having their hands full with Inv 2.0 problems, and with the combine going down from Inv 2.0.
