I'm in the Corellian system and am puzzled. I can't seem to dock with the trading station or Centrepoint Station. I suspect it has something to do with insufficient access privileges. But I'm also curious to know if it is something different. I'm a freelancer right now and a native Corellian. I'm still a little new to this, so there may be a simple solution that I don't know about.

You and your ship need to be added to the crewlist, to be able to dock into a facility (provided the facility has the volume needed to allow such)

I'm sure you simply aren't on the access lists for either station, so are not allowed to dock. If you scan the stations, it will tell you the owner, who you can contact to try to get access. But if you don't have a good reason, chances are you won't get it.
