When i build a shield generator, can i pass it since im the owner?

And can i ad people to the crewlist in order for them to pass?

No and no - you need a Computer Control Center taht the shield gen is linked to. Then anyone of the crewlist of the CCC will be able to pass.

At least atmo-ground anyway.
