I'm in a Gallo as the pilot and I've been assigned to the crew list of a trade station. I'm at the station and added to the crew list in order to pick up the assigned materials inside, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pick up the resources in the TS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Items you pick up from the items interface. RM's go from the cockpit and need operator status.

As Ka`rla said, you need to be operator of the station - RMs are not a physical object. You'll need to access the Materials section in the Cockpit interface to move them around.
