Xand Ashuwa	Another way of finding out requires you to be either carrying an item or an item you own/is assigned to you is on the same vessel as you are. If you can comply to either of those requirements, you can access your items inventory, proceed to appropriate page( [Manage Owned Items]/[Manage Assigned Items] ), select the item and select "Show on Galactic Map" option from the drop-down menu. This should give you an idea of the system you're currently located in.
