Okay I just came back from inactivity and for some reason most of my
NPC's have 30+ Skill Points. I'm not sure what all has changed since I was gone, but is this normal?
Just had an image of a couple squads of crack (or maybe just on crack) Jawa space marines all going "Utini!" at once after entering an enemy ship with the sound echoing through the halls :D
Oh crap! Just given Heek ideas, haven't ah? Now there's gonna be a huge battle between Broms Ewoks and Heeks Jawas to determine the fate of the Galaxy
Not sure what would be worse: have your ship stripped from under (and over and around) you leaving you to float home (or explode/implode), or having hair (or fur, whatever it is those psychotic teddy bears are covered in) get everywhere
is this for real? honestly, ... NPCs will be more powerful in their specialty than the leader. So, if that is what we are going for, fine, I understand. But my elite Wookiees and Ewoks can now kick my ass 100x over.
The question has to be: are the NPCs getting that much every time they level (highly doubtful) or just to put them on an equal footing as a freshly hatched PC of the same species?
freshly hatched PC can't put the points all in one spot, but evently. I can see, yes, it puts them on even footing, but they are just way, way more focused on something.
I boosted a hand full just to see how it works, but I am waiting till they are done fiddl'en with it to do anything else.
probably like custom npc and PC where SP are based on race amount and you spread them around in skills. Though I find that this is pretty useless if NPCs are already specialised in certain things so number should be less than that of a player character and need to be XPed up level to gain extra SP and certain amount of skills are used per section so all are not slapped into uber elite soldiers/workers/pilots/mechanics
