1) what are the requirements to abort a uc ship, do you just need to be pilot of the sy or must you also belong to the commanding faction etc?
2) once a ship has been aborted is there any way to "un-abort" the ship, or is it definatley destroyed once abort has been confirmed
As the Skrull photographer said: once aborted all progress is gone and you have to start all over again from scratch, not sure if all the RMs are gone as well as ah have no knowledge on that side of things
Rm are given back with a loss depending on how long the ship was under construction. As longer under construction as less you get back. The dc will be re-assigned to the shipyard/factory.
Iirc the rm are owned by the owner of the shipyard/factory, nut I am not sure.
"The dc will be re-assigned to the shipyard/factory."
You sure about that? Is this a recent change, because I've heard differently.
Also, regarding aborts, something I'd *love* is just a way to abort and completely either instantly or at a reduced time (maybe the retool time?) abort an entity, and get 0 RMs back, just to clear the shipyard/factory, as some things take an obscene amount of time, and I'm a bit OCD about messy factories :P
With 1) I think it works under the same rules as production... If you can produce there, you can abort there. If you can't do one, you can't do the other. But don't hold me to that :S
