Archives » Aurorient Express a starship?
Year 13 Day 324 5:12
Maha Michi

In reading Wookieepedia (I know, it's not the end all be all), it says:
"The luxury liner designation applied to civilian starships over 100 meters long that could carry more than 250 passengers."

...makes me wonder why the Aurorient is a vehicle instead of a starship and why it only has 45 passengers. C-3 passenger liner is also listed as a luxury liner.

probably in the wrong category then. If a picture's worth a thousand words, look at the picture! The "ship" is roughly the length of 6 or 7 of those droids. How big are the droids? I dunno. But if this were 100m long, the droids would have to be much bigger than standard security droids.

I wouldn't say one way or another what size this "ship" is until I read the source material.

The Aurorient Express was a luxury cruise liner on the gas giant Yorn Skot ...

That line sounds like the luxury liner was permanently in use on that planet, thus suggests a vehicle (similar to the Coral Vanda, which is also a luxury liner vehicle)

It was picked because it was listed specifically in the air vehicles category of the wiki, and Togan is correct; its like a cruise liner here on Earth, travelling around the oceans. Luxury Cruise liner is a fairly generic category.
