The last FI run saw a massive drop in earnings for everyone on Lorrd but we can't find any reason for it. There have been no new buildings or changes in operator status yet facilities owned by ourselves and other groups on the planet have dropped from an average of just over 50k to just over 10k. The only change is that the governor has been inactive for a couple of weeks but I've never heard of this having any impact on FI earnings before (although I could understand if it impacted tax income).
Is this something that needs a bug report or has there been a change in FI from the admin side?
Governor has no effect on FI. Only a magistrate has an effect, and even then only on tax income.
Could it be that your operators changed or went inactive, or that previous closed to crewlist facilities were made open to all, bringing the number of facilities above the MNSF values and so cause income for all those facilities to drop?
That's why we're confused, the effect has been across the board, facilities with different operators have been affected the same way but nobody has changed anything with the exception of an inactive governor.
I can confirm that it was only on the planet Lorrd that my hotels have been affected.
My issues are with hotels only.
Not all my cities were affected.
I've checked every detail and there is no difference between a city that earned the right FI and one that didn't as far as operators , managers , commisioners or administrators.
I use the same operator/manager combos on my other facilities on other planets and they haven't been affected.
No change to crewlist was made.
I'm independent of Dans faction so it seems it's a problem across the board and not just faction related.
The stats for Lorrd are very good so it's not that.
Too many of any given facility type per city will lower the income that facility type receives. The specific number is a hidden value but if your income begins to drop after more hotels are opened for income, you likely have too many hotels.
I had previously been under the impression that MNSF is planet-wide, but the rules do clearly specify it is only city-wide. That's the only discrepancy that comes to mind immediately that may or may not explain your situation, though, in which case the rules ought to be corrected.
Syn, I believe it is planet-wide, but it is based on the number of cities, which could be what the rules are pertaining to - you can have a max of 4 hotels per city, but not necessarily all in the same city on the planet.
