Year 15 Day 162 13:42

Looking at planet control, you need the following -
(Planet size * Planet size * 2,500)

To determine the planet population the following is used -
BP = (Ln (Flats) x (Flats)^2) + (Flats)

So for an example if I laid down a hotel what would my BP be? If I laid down 10 hotels what would my BP be?

If you would not mind, could you explain/walk me through solving the BP equation?

So 1 hotel = 5 flats.

So for one hotel on a planet, you get
BP = (Ln (5) x (5)^2) + 5
BP = (1.61 x 25) + 5
BP = 40.24 + 5
BP = 45.24

So 45 People

The same is done for 10 hotels, which would have 50 flats.

BP = (Ln (50) x (50)^2) + 5
BP = (3.91 x 2500) + 5
BP = 9775 + 5
BP = 9780

or 9,780 People.

Okay. I think I got it.

Thank you Jevon.

10 hotels still gives 9.830 citizen

you missed to add the 50 flats.

So if I have this right, one hotel city can generate enough population to hold any planet you come by?

City = 81 hotels + 9 power gens
Flats = 405

BP = (Ln (405) x (405)^2) + 405
BP = (6.00 x 164,025) + 405
BP = 984,1504 + 405
BP = 984,555

Pretty much.

And i did miss the other 45, I was leaving work as I typed it out
