What are the odds of getting the same results when prospecting?
I'm wondering if i should report it as a bug.

1 Year 16 Day 85, 14:46 You have completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet Horuz Belt Object V at (0, 0) with 12 vehicle(s). You found 121,650 units of lommite.
2 Year 16 Day 84, 7:12 You have completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet Horuz Belt Object II at (0, 0) with 12 vehicle(s). You found 121,650 units of lommite.
3 Year 16 Day 81, 7:55 You have completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet Horuz Belt Object III at (0, 0) with 12 vehicle(s). You found No Deposits.
4 Year 16 Day 80, 10:12 You have completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet Horuz Belt Object VI at (0, 0) with 12 vehicle(s). You found 121,650 units of lommite.
5 Year 16 Day 79, 3:15 You have completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet Horuz Belt Object IV at (0, 0) with 12 vehicle(s). You found 121,650 units of lommite

That's a nice haul of Lommite..

well depends on the terrain type for one.

check out the rules page below to learn about mats. Lomm is a common RM and can be found in many places and it also has one of the highest rarity rates which means it is very easy to find.

Are you prospecting the same square over and over?

Year 16 Day 87 12:36
The paste shows different planet names. It'd be nice if others who have found lommite deposits recently have events to share for comparison. It seems to be rolling the same random multiplier repeatedly but it's hard to be sure from the sample size if that's coincidental or happening for everyone.

Year 16 Day 84, 14:14 xxx has completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet xxx at xxx with 12 vehicle(s). He found 99,900 units of lommite.

Random generation is..... random.

Edit: Not as recent but meh:

Year 16 Day 72, 5:47 xxx has completed SX-65 Groundhog prospecting on planet xxx at xxx with 12 vehicle(s). He found 171,300 units of lommite.

As Syn already pointed out it is different asteroids i was prospecting. They were all crater terrain.

That pic is spot on Syn. The random number seemed stuck on 0.81.
C3-PO and Eddie (from Hitchikers Guide) voices popped into my head and i wondered what the odds of that happening really were.

It seems that the RNG is working properly though now.
A few people have shown me their results and they are all different after checking the RNG around the same time.

@Kay , Thats a cool little tool. Can you apply the same RNG that SWC uses so you actually get a rolled example result from it?

It's not so much that the deposit found is lommite.
More about the size of the deposit at 121,650 units for all 4 deposits

Sounds like a bug & a dissapointing one, being stuck with that much lommite.

Year 16 Day 87 19:32
As a miner I agree with Kain Eckert. Getting four lommites sounds a little off but could happen, But the deposit size is also supposed to be random. Four deposits of lommite with the exact same deposit size. That sounds buggy to me.

Like Sims showed, others have been getting different quantities of lommite recently so it doesn't appear to be a bug, just an odd pattern.

I suppose the rand min max LISP function uses the same RNG, but I don't see a way to throw that into the spreadsheet. I'll add the Deposit-Size range & a random example to the sheet.
