2 weeks ended several days ago and I'm still banned/ Now before people start ranting about wrong forum. Togan apparently banned me from the other 2 forums though i haven't even been within a mile of SWC for 2 some weeks now. So what the heck's going on here?

I would recommend sending an e-mail to the person who banned you.

Banned players/non-logged in players, cannot access the other forums. They can see the overall layout, but can't actually check out the threads. When you're banned, you're removed from the community.

Last i looked the problem centre was open to logged out players for tech support. Even if its not, it shouldn't show a banned message. Should say you don't have access.

You're still here, so you're evidently not banned. Are you trying to circumvent your ban then? Is that what you're admitting to? :)

Yes, you're banned. However, you can access whatever you need to contact the proper members of the administration.

It actually could be a continuing problem with the "guest IP ban" instituted because of the spam we had a while back.

Or he just banned you. Who knows?

Well I'm unbanned now thanks to Hal's advice. However i still find the QfA ban on guests an issue...I could see many cases where a guest would need to post in that forum and at the very least it should say you don't have access...Bug base perhaps?

More likely you suffered an IP match against a spam bot, and were caught under that blanket ban on that forum.

Normal guests should have access to all forums on the Problem Centre.

Or it was a blanket ban that perhaps just missed this forum due to the nature of the ban, Hal. Threatening players and all.

Players have not been banned from posting here as a Guest while suffering a game ban in the past. As much as I may not like Rogmi, I don't see that he would deserve special treatment in that regards.

If he had been posting and making a nuisance of himself, I could understand it, but since I don't believe he's posted any threads besides this one since banned, I don't see that Togan would go to the trouble for no good reason.

Actually, it looks like there are still issues with IP bans--I just logged out, and was banned from QfA and General Questions. I reckon someone's playing with it yet, though.

Strange since I've had the same IP for several months now. Anyway, It's all been cleared up now.
