I kow I may have asked this before, but I was wondering. You know ship production factions start with the escape pod datacard, do droid/items factions start with anything, because they all seem to have datacards of some sort.

I've read that, but I was wondering if they actually start with anything, considering Medical Factions get loads of ship and item datacards.

The page tells you what they get. If you don't see it there, they don't get it.

Also, not all the item factions have DCs. I know Santhe doesn't off the top of my head. But as Arke pointed out, that page lists all the DCs and facilities they can build for each faction - if its not listed, they don't get it.
