trying to buy a ship thru cp exchange, but when i select the ship and quantity and hit exchange, it says invalid file type for custom image. says it needs a name for custom image, but i'm not buying an image, but a ship.

noticed on sim news that custom gear was just added. maybe a bug?

also bought a vehicle thru cp exchange at same time and it went thru ok.

Make sure you are clicking on the correct "Exchange" button. Sounds like you are clicking on the button right under custom images.

nope, clicking right next to exchange right next to ship and qty.

checked it several times to make sure i'm not a total idiot. and like i said, i successfully bought a skiff.
