I was wondering what the chain of events for recycling is, because the rules page is just basically a list of equations.

So, you find a wreck, tag it, then move it to a recycling facility and recycle it?

I do believe that is correct. You can split it after tagging if it's too large as well.

So how do you move a wreck (or split one) as the weight caps of the ships that recycling factions get aren't exactly the best.

Well, by wreck I mean you user the wrecker (or is it the salvager? never can remember these 2) to damage a facility/ship/whatever to under 15% so that it becomes a wreck. You can split a wreck too, into small pieces so you can move it to a recycling place. I think splitting is done by the ship the recycling factions have.

What I don't get is why a ship that would normally be say 42 tons would become a 50,000 ton wreck or is that figure wrong...
