Is there XP given for creature combat?

Question about creature combat too, so I'll just post it here.

Can you use lightsabers now to hit cratures? If so are there any penalties for non-FS people? Like chance you'll hit yourself with it.

Not sure about XP - Sin was talking about adding it, but not sure if he got to that before syncing up the combat as is.

EDIT: Someone apparently got 80XP for attacking some creatures so yes it does give XP.

You can use lightsabers, Lilith, but they only behave like any other weapon for now.

Are you sure about that, Ellias? I've attacked squads of creatures twice so far. Yet, my General Events don't show any XP added from the creature combat.

Yes combat should give you XP. If you aren't receiving any, or the XP page is not showing it, its a bug and should be reported.

after much hunting, and enjoying it, I am finding that the larger creatures are, ... hard to find. In fact, I haven't seen a Rancor since hunting came out.

My question: Has anyone see larger creatures? I'm looking for that lone dragon to slay, and I don't want to start looking if they simply don't exist yet.

The "heroic" creatures were removed until creature retaliation is implemented, so the first time you kill a Rancor/Krayt Dragon it shall be a true challenge. ;)
