If its not owned you can also ask Admins to send it to you, but it does have to be on your ship.

Well, technically I cannot check what entity it is on. So long as you have the name and it isn't owned already by another player/faction, I will make it over to you.

Has anybody undertaken the moral question "can we practice/sharpen our weapons on characters long since gone?" I have a few on some ships that I own, they have been around for over two or three years. Is there going to be a moral outcry with removing them from the game (out of game context), or to be more "in game"-pulling the plug on the comatose? Of course, this won't rear its ugly head until full ground combat is implemented.

The moral question exists only IC, since lost souls are still assumed to be living sentients just like NPCs or player characters, so that's rather a moot point outside of the GNS.

Is an NPC (lost soul) only created when a character is dropped?
